Delhi Institute of Pharmaceutical Science & Research

Delhi Institute of Pharmaceutical Sciences & Research (DIPSAR) was established in 1964 as Department of Pharmacy of the Kashmere gate Polytechnic for providing Diploma education in Pharmacy. The institute has moved to the present campus in 1979. Now the institute is affiliated with University of Delhi (DU) and offers under graduate and post graduate programs in pharmacy. The institute is responsible to carry out leading research programs and hence offers Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) programs in various domains of pharmaceutical sciences and conducts research work.

DIPSAR is funded by Government of NCT of Delhi. This is only Pharmacy institute in the country where faculty members are recruited through Union Public Service Commission (UPSC). The College has excellent setting packed with high-tech teaching equipments, highly spacious & equipped library, Animal House, most sophisticated laboratory equipments, and separate hostel for Girls and Boys in the campus. Hostels are equipped with facilities like mess, medical care, communication, entertainment, and sports and games.

DIPSAR is recognized by All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE), University Grants Commission (UGC), Pharmacy Council of India (PCI) and various other bodies of government and industry.
