Hindu College was founded in 1899 by Late Shri Krishan Dassji Gurwale for providing higher education to Delhi's Youths. Today, Hindu College is recognized as one of the premier colleges in the country. The campus of Hindu College spreads over 25 acres of land in the North Campus of Delhi University (DU); the campus is well known for its beautiful trees, vast sport's ground and boys hostel with a capacity of 200 seats. Admission into hostels is offered to outstation candidates only on the basis of merit. The college is also famous for finest auditoria in Delhi, a state-of-the-art seminar room, and last but not the least, its very own canteen where the eatables can get as sumptuous as the discussions.
