Lady Sri Ram College, in short LSR College was established in 1956 by Sir Sri Ram in memory of his wife. Earlier college was operating from Darya Gang, in Old Delhi. Now its campus acquires beautiful building with modern facilities in South Delhi. The college comes under the administrative control of Delhi University (DU). In year 2006, Lady Sri Ram College has celebrated its Golden Jubilee.Lady Sri Ram College is considered among Top Colleges in Delhi for arts and commerce courses. College offers excellent settings for teaching and learning in terms of qualified faculty members, rich library resources and beautiful environment.
For overall development of students, LSR College offers facilities for sports and games and various other hobby activities beyond academics. College organizes, lectures, seminars, and debates etc time to time. For outstation students' hostel facilities are offered. Extreme care is taken for safety of hostel residents. Seats are limited in hostels and admission is offered on the basis of merit.
Lady Sri Ram College has dedicated placement cell which arranges for job interview of students during final year of studies. In past, recruiters like Mckinsey, HLL, Tata Consultancy Services, Taj Group of Hotels etc. have visited the LSR Campus. LSR College is preferred HR destination for employers of national and international repute.
