Sri Venkateswara College

The Foundation stone of Sri Venkateswara College, New Delhi was laid by Dr S. Radhakrishanan on 21 August 1961. The college comes under the administrative control of University of Delhi (DU) and considered among famous colleges in Delhi. It’s a coeducational college.

Sri Venkateswara College, New Delhi offers under graduate and post graduate programs in numbers of sciences, arts and commerce disciplines. It has well built classrooms, science laboratories in different study areas, computer center, well built library and many other teaching support facilities.  Keeping overall development of learners in mind, facilities for sports & games and other curricular activities are also offered. The college functions according to the constitution of Delhi University (DU). Ragging is considered an offence.

Sri Venkateswara College offers hostel facilities for out station students. Separate hostel facilities are offered for boys and girls. Since the numbers of seats are limited, hostel accommodation is allotted on the basis of merit and interview etc. Students of Delhi and Delhi NCR regions are not allowed to live in hostels.
