The University College of Medical Sciences (UCMS) is one of the famous colleges in Delhi for providing medical and paramedical education. This college was established in 1971. Guru Teg Bahadur Hospital is associated teaching hospital with UCMS New Delhi. The courses offered by UCMS are approved from University of Delhi (DU). Medical Council of India (MCI) gives due recognition to UCMS programs. The College Ranks 7th on National Ranking on the basis of research publications published.
The University College of Medical Sciences (UCMS) is a coeducational residential institution and offers hostel facilities for male and female students. Its hostels are equipped with adequate living facilities like food canteen, communication, entertainment etc.
Admission into various courses of UCMS is offered on the basis of entrance examinations. After acquiring medical degrees and certificates from UCMS candidates may go for higher studies or start working in hospitals or start practicing on own. All students graduating from UCMS must require registering with Medical Council of India (MCI).
