Eligibility
The Faculty offers Ph.D. in Biochemistry, Biotechnology, Chemistry, Botany and Toxicology. Candidates seeking admission to the Ph.D. programme in the Faculty should have passed M.Sc. in the relevant subject securing at least 55% marks in the aggregate. Departments of Biotechnology and Medical Elementology and Toxicology accept candidates to Ph.D. programme who possess M.Sc. degree in Chemistry or any subject of Biological Sciences.
Some fellowships sponsored by HNF are available for award to deserving candidates. Some candidates can be supported by appointing them as Junior Research Fellows in research projects sponsored by various funding agencies of the Government of India.
