JNU Hostels

Apart from scholastic facilities offered by the JNU, the university is popular among students for accommodation facilities provided by the university.

JNU is known for its hostel facility. JNU houses 13 hostels for boys and girls and one complex to accommodate married students and scholars.

JNU Library

The library of JNU is one of the most modern and well equipped university libraries holding a place of pride among university libraries in the country.

The library serves as a hub of all academic activities. The JNU library deposits Government Publications and publications of several organizations of international repute such as WHO, European Union, United Nations and its allied agencies etc.

The university has recently established a Cyber Library with 200 Computers for the students and research scholars to access the available online resources.

The general reading hall of the library remains open all the 24 hours of the day. The library remains closed only on three National Holidays and Holi festival in a year.

Reaching JNU

The Jawaharlal Nehru University (JNU) is situated at New Mehrauli Road.

The University campus is well connected with bus service. One can directly reach the campus by bus (route number 615) from New Delhi Railway Station (Minto Road).

Other mode of transportation such as auto, taxi can also be used to reach the JNU Campus.
