JMI M.Tech 2013
Jamia Millia Islamia (JMI) offers a Master of Technology (M.Tech.) program in a few different subjects. These postgraduate courses have fewer seats available than there are for bachelor's courses.
M.Tech. (Nanotechnology)
Number of seats: 20
Eligibility criteria: Candidates must have one of the following.
- Bachelor's degree in one of the following with at least 60 percent marks: Mechanical, electrical, computer engineering, instrumentation, electronics and communication
- Master of Science (M.Sc.) in Chemistry or Physics, mathematics to at least the graduation level. Aggregate marks should be at least 55 percent.
The course is directed by the Centre for Nanoscience and Nanotechnology.
M.Tech. Electronics
Number of seats: 30
Eligibility criteria:Candidates should have one of the following.
- Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.) Hons. in one of the following: Physics, Electronics or Instrumentation
- Bachelor of Applied Science in Instrumentation
- Bachelor of Applied Science (Hons.) in Instrumentation
- B.Sc. in Electronics
- B.Sc. pass with maths and physics as optional subjects with a minimum of 50 percent marks

Eligibility criteria: First class bachelor's degree in one of the following from a recognised university: Production engineering, mechanical engineering, automobile engineering, manufacturing or automation engineering. GATE score candidates are preferred (though scholarships are not currently available in this category).
