Lady Irwin College, New Delhi is one of the top colleges for providing education in home sciences and related disciplines. It was established in 1932. The college comes under the administrative control of University of Delhi (DU).

Lady Irwin College is a girl’s only institution and offers hostel facilities for out station candidates. Hostels are equipped with all necessary facilities including mess. Safety measures are adequate.

Lady Irwin College offers under graduate and post graduate courses and conducts research programs. Study Abroad Program

This Program is being offered with all the post-graduate courses for Summer Placement in "Michigan State University, U.S.A.". This is the only College of the University of Delhi, where Study Abroad Program is offered with all the Post-graduate courses in the areas of Home Science education, since 1999. The courses are as follows:
